It saddens us to announce that our Dad, Paul Lathbury, Lathers, PC 435, a lover of travelling, photography, fishing, rugby, cricket, wildlife, birds, cooking, steam trains, quiz nights, good food & real ales, proud retired policeman & devoted friend, husband to Deb, father to us & grandfather to “mini chimp” Jessica……. is now out of pain & at peace. Dignified & brave as always, never complaining & calmly being very accepting of what was to come until the very end, a true hero The 66 years & 5 days Dad had on this planet were nowhere near long enough, it’s not fair at all, but he certainly made the most of all 66 of them! We just wish he could have carried on doing all the things he loved & spent time with people that loved him for many more years, but it was not to be. Words cannot express how much you will be missed, but we know you’ll be around……… those we love don’t go away, they sit beside us every day Rest in peace Dad, sleep tight, until we meet again Abbie (Doodle) & Charlotte (Chongy) Xxx
